d'oh

i spent hours last night making important decisions on which items to buy on amazon, only to realize today that i accidentally had them shipped to my default shipping address/billing address, which is my parents' address. i wish i could say that this is the first time it happened, but it's more like the 10th. at least i'm seeing my parents in about ten days, so i might get my stuff then, but after i realized i was an idiot about it, i frantically emailed each amazon seller. hopefully, i'll catch all the ones that haven't shipped my various order parts yet and they'll be able to ship to the correct place, i'm not keeping my hopes up.

i ordered these cool looking sleep aid patches from natural patches of vermont that are supposed to help with insomnia. i was really looking forwards to having them during the exam period, but it looks like that's not going to happen now, which means another trip to the hippie supermarket is in order... *sigh*

i also ordered a beautiful sleep mask from cris notti:

at this point i will do anything to help myself get to sleep. i'm well aware that i can't be on ambien forever, so i'm hoping a quadruple whammy of melatonin/tryptophan/sleep mask/homeopathic essential oils patch might do the trick. although i DID take a nap today on my own, without any drugs, but that's probably because jeremy was rubbing my feet... :p calmed me right down!

also entertaining is my list of recommendations on amazon, which includes homeopathic insomnia medication, a metallica/slayer/megadeth bluray, the crim. law nutshell, and a set of fit and fresh tupperware. i think that pretty much sums up my life.
