typical saturday

spent many hours at susie's yesterday, watching netflix and sort of doing work. i made the fantastic head start of 2 paragraphs on my 20 page paper that's due friday, but c'est la vie. we had fun, and that's what counts. last year i wrote a 20 page paper in 16 hours, so i think i might be able to handle getting this one done on time, esp. bc it's on prosecutorial misconduct, something i feel i know all too much about.

in other news...

so this little beauty is my anniversary present from j. i usually pride myself on not being a girlfriend that obsesses over expensive presents.......... but i love this so much! i think it is super simple and very beautiful :) and i think it will mean more to me than other trinkets or things like that. i'd rather have something small and meaningful than something big that i don't really want.

anyyyyway. i'm planning on staying in bed for a while today. i had a migraine last night and am up earlier than i really wanted to be. i love my ambien but i sometimes wish it would last a few hours longer :p
