sometimes i swear all of those terrible jokes people make about lawyers are true. like today -- someone from my section said today in crim that if a guy at a bar was tipping enough at the bar where he was bartending, he'd let him leave even if the customer was too drunk to drive. really? i guess if you're a wannabe personal injury lawyer that would be good for furthering your career, but i was hoping that some of us had morals...
it's so disheartening. rick used to say that everyone has their price, but would you really sell your morals for a big tip?
i'd like to think i wouldn't. i wonder how many of us started out law school with that attitude.
